Established in 1929, Basil Paterson is a small independent college and exam centre located in the heart of Edinburgh. We offer an academic, year-round alternative to school for students to complete their National 5s, Highers and Advanced Highers. Our aim is to provide a personalised educational opportunity for our students. We strive to create an intensive learning experience where pupils are challenged as well as supported. Courses and Tuition at Basil Paterson College include:

Part Time Day Courses: Our 30 week courses are taught over 4 hours per week from August to May.

Distance Learning & Part Time Online Day Courses: Our 30 week distance courses/online run from August to May and are available for a limited number of subjects.

1:1 Tuition: 1:1 tuition personalised to your needs to support your studies at home, school or college.

Easter Revision: Our Easter courses will support your studies and get you ready for final assessments and exams.
