Basil Paterson has been supporting international students for many years. Our small school and individual timetables ensure that our pupils are well supported from the start. Our aim is to ensure that every pupil studying at Basil Paterson is able to fully access the curriculum as well as engage with all wider school activities.

We offer distance assessments and interviews for applicants if face-to-face is not possible. The assessment will be carried out under exam conditions. 

All Middle School international applicants applying to study with us, whose first language is not English, must complete the Cambridge A2 Key for Schools qualification and submit the completed certificate with their application. 

All international applicants wishing to study at our college, whose first language is not English, must complete the IELTS SELT qualification and have achieved 5.5 across all skills. The completed certificate must be submitted with their application. 

The registration fee for all applicants is £300. If a place is offered and accepted, we ask for one term’s fees in advance.
